Christmas Road Trip Lamp

We took a road trip to Dallas for a family Christmas. Good food, good company, good theater, great Christmas lights and great memories.
On the way home we stopped at a couple antique shops and I picked up a seemingly rare Duoplex carbide lamp made in England.
It has clear front lens and red rear lens.

If this was used on a bicycle I’m assuming it was fork mounted. Maybe from a carriage or boat, not sure of origin year so could be motorcycle.
In looking at the carbide pot it doesn’t appear to have seen much use, even though the nickel plate shows a lot of weathering. I’ve given some thought on adding it to TrikeTor.
