Went to check the custom culture thing (http://www.ratrodbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2006) at our neightbours (Germany, that is), very nice! It was at a small airport, bit hard to find (using the routenet.nl). And had to borrow a car (wife and oldest son to zoo, also in Germany). But that turned out nicely. I could borrow my collegues/friends Mercedes (about 40 years old, 8 cil., almost 4 liter block). Guzzle guzzle. So, me and our youngest went for it!
Anyway, the bikes were a bit dissapointing, just one custome guy, nice bikes, but you weren't allowed to tough them : ( (I was hoping to get some parts for the lowglide I'm doing for my son's birthday)
But a lot of cars, tiki, and stuff you'd expect and want to see. Cool!

Easy..I wanted to show you something that has me Confused.
This is a Picture of a Local Car in British Columbia,

The guy who Built it is a Graphic Artist..and The Pic I am
showing is at a Hot Rod Camping weekend
with my Kids last year.

My point is this...you have a Photo of The Same Car..
In Germany :?:
I wonder if it sold and was shipped....
The Red 34 Ford, with the 61c on the Door.

Here's my Picture from Last Years Show.

That is very interesting Kevin...that would be crazy if it were the same car.

BTW....would you mind emailing me a hi-res photo of that wicked 55 Chevy in the background? I love that car.

I'll see if I can Dig it up.
It has Scanned image's of 1955 / 1956 / 1957 "Hot Rod" magazine
on The Roof.

He Scanned them, turned them Cepia, and printed them on that
Vinyl Material that Cars and Bus's are "Body Wrapped" with.

That 34 also has an Image on The inside Ceiling of a 50's Diner
in Black and White.

I'll see what Photo's I can Dig up Steve,

peace,
Kev.

Could very well be the same owner even, Kev. Some guys go to ALL meetings. There were also quite a bunch of (famous) American pinstripe artists at work. Plus this was supposed to be (one of) the biggest meetings in Europe...

I added a few extra car pics. http://www.flickr.com/photos/easyskywalker/
