I need more room in the frame back here for 26" wheels. Luckily I have a few pigs back here to shave some bacon off of. This should give my the extension I need and the reinforcement I need in the rear triangle

You know how sometimes you are doing something and think, "Man, this is gonna be a really teer jerker for someone somewhere who Hass a pentiant for vintage Roadmasters." And it makes you smile "extra. Kinda mean way grin.

Welcome back from the dead. I like the way you did the rake with the diagonal cut to the old headtube. You should be able to use an OCC rear wheel to fit that Dunlop tire on.

If only they made tools like a measure length thing or a check if it's gonna be level thing. Whatever this will work it always does. Gratuitous petrol powered spectators laughing pic

I missed you man I really did. i want to add a sidecar and use this old school (lmfao nos) Jared slick with these rusted triple drops in twisted spoke
three speed hd hand brake now. I checked the chainline on these 16" harley wheels and I can use them on something else with a center freewheel and disk brake mount to the the chainwheel I am pedalling ;-) . I could have pulled a lot more rake out of that set up too. I was thinking to myself it was pretty clever and repeatable when i did it. Using a couple sizes too big fork on these things is pretty common so I did it so someone else could later

I was tacking this in place when I ran out of wire. I just hammered the piss out of it to make sure everything is close gaps because I am totally going to use the China tool store wire that came

I just keep staring at the bus!
Westy" loves you too man. My fifteen year old daughter, my fifteen and one half and thirteen days it is time for her to get her learners permit or whatever, had her little "gifted and talented or advanced placement nerd burglar friends over to the house and they all decided they wanted to "clean up the Scooby van"

they said. Me being a legit new balance wering clueless dad got all excited and ran into the house and got some sidewalk chalk and soap and water and stuff so they could have a good time "coloring on it". I walk outside they have already vacuumed it and took all of my hippy .... out of it and they just look at me like, "no big dummy, we mean drive it for the next three years and take a cross country adventure because we are all leggy little spoiled genius jerks and like beaches and parties now. (but I digress)

This her in the flashing red and blue thingy she totally busted me with and made me think I was getting pulled over back when she still liked sidewalk chalks

I'll tell you a funny story. Secrets: When these poop-a-doo-doos pulled out of Dallas all the "yellow bikes" were free real estate. Most of them went to a friend's charity but I saved a few I pulled from the scrapyard (Every crackhead in the metroplex was scrambling to scrap them) to build wheels with those hubs. I just happened to have a set of security bits and the spoke nipples are an odd size. Proprietary nothing you can order fits them. I have used them several times. The shifty guage spokes are just the right lengths to twist in a vintage hub as long as you do not lose a nipple. I mean we were buying them in bulk from the metal recycle places and taking them to the charity for the record

Okay where was I? I ran out of wire just as I got this tacked in. I took the big friggin hammer to it and decided I was just going to use the Chinese wire that came with my hardor fright weldor. That was a terrible idea.
