Geez, I just remembered I haven't wired the front hub or decided what to use for tail lights, at least two. Plus this is going to need a horn and a second headlight so I don't accidentally clobber someone talking on their phone on a bike trail

That thing looks nasty (in a good way!).
In one of the pictures I thought you were putting some drive or nitrous on it to make the jump from the last inspirational picture
Yeah this one is so lightweight compared to Scully and the other Beiwagenmaschine with the motor. I don't think I would even want to. Just putting my motor bikes in the truck to take them to shows wears me out. I think the other one weighs twice as much. I had it WOT to get that little bit of air. I had a dream last night the brakes failed and I was clobbering people with that cattle guard on a group ride.

*checks tetanus records.
Yeah, I'd ride that.
I might start calling it lockjaw. i caught my ankle on the only two square corners left on the frame last night when I was putting it away. i need to add nerf bars to those spots to keep something from sliding out of it anyway it was just too late to do it yesterday

If I finish the "bread bin boot" today I'll be happy. Kate walked outside and says, " I don't know how you do it. it's a blast furnace out here." I am just thinking at least I am not cutting stone or digging a pool. Some of these were absolutely brutal.
I did one with a 200 foot stream and 40 tons of stone that the lady would not let us bring heavy equipment into the backyard.

Yeah, finished my sanding the other night. Gonna start painting this weekend.

Found these chairs at the curb to use for bits of steel. I thought I was going to used those curved bits for the side saddle but now I kind of like sitting in this one. I got it out this morning to check for tire scrub and it doesn't have any. It managed to put itself in alignment. The side car geometry on the motorcycles is a little different than what these prefer when they are so lightweight. I went round and round with it on the big Beiwagenmaschine. I may want a locator spring for the fork or a steering damper. Doing a tight donut was a really big temptation on the big one and it put a lot of stress on that frame. This one does them a little too easy and the rake on that fork means you are picking up the whole thing at full lock back to center

Thanks, I think I only had to make a hundred parts for it it feels like more and no worries man. It gives me an excuse to look at my own thread

I got that last corner and a standard passenger bench is a perfect fit. I'll quit laughing in a minute. Now the whole thing is a 71 VW accessory. That old cooler matches my upholstery. Just needs ice and a case of High Life or something
