Hi,
may I ask what are the forks and how they go with 80mm front rime and tyre?
thx.
Regards, Matjaz
The fork is a Nirve streetking.

It fits alright to the Rim/Tire combi.

Awesome looking dashboard, very nice 8)
Have you tried putting them a little wider, in line with the forklegs yet ?
Pics don't show seen from the front, but that might look even tighter. Just a thought.

Lowjact, thanks for the info.
I have 80mm rimes, Fatti-O tyres and project 346 wide fork. I tought thet rimes and tyres wouldn't work with other fork.
And yes, your Basman looks so very good.

Funny you ask this.
First i had mounted them inline with the forklegs as you can see on this pic.

I've put them a little closer to the stem so they fit better to the bars because of the bending in the bars.
And i think it looks even better.

Hey bro I say they look better closer to the stem also. I like the way they fill in the bars she gets parked in the house right?

Hmm, looks like you're right. Looks a bit too neat above the forklegs I guess.
Thanks for showing that pic as well, was just wondering what it would look like. Very cool extra's either way.

@ everyone.
Thanks for your great reactions.
At this moment I've the Bas how I would like to have it.
So for now I don't have anything left to change.
Only the chaingard will have to leave,as soon as I can get the bottom bracket out.
At this moment it won't come out off the frame, :( so I have to figure  out how it will.
Now I wanna drive some cruises and meet some peeps.
Grtz. C U Soon Jack. :p

@ Ace.
Here some pics from the frontside as you asked.

And a little closer.

Also a nice vieuw on how much space there is left between the tire and the forklegs.

Cheers Jack, great view from the front, that's one mean looking machine ! Headlight looks killer 8)
Amazing how different your Basman looks compared to mine, handlebarwise. It's all in the details, right ?

Wow, that's a stunning photo Jack ! Totally printable and above-your-bed-hangeable 8) if the wife will let you that is
A shame though it takes removing the bb bearing to switch the chainguard on or off, not a simple change you can switch back too.
But I like mine as well without it, no more chain hitting the guard. Clean look !

New chain comes my way.
Finally found the fat chain that i would like to have.

Foto-6USKH36C-D.jpg

Specs:
fully nickel-plated
straight plates to withstand extreme loads
1/2" x 1/8"
pin length: 12.4 mm

New chain is here.

Foto-UVDOPGDZ-D.jpg

Old vs. new. I like the straight sideplates of the new chain.

Foto-P4AYU4QZ-D.jpg

New one +/- 5 mm wider.

On the bike.

Like the smooth out and inside.

Foto-I4SUBF7U-D.jpg

Just a FAT chain, that looks good on the bike.Don't you think so?

Massive, I like it a lot 8)

A few questions if you don't mind:
- did you have to buy 2 chains for your Bas, or are these long enough ? I needed my 2nd chain for only 20 links or so...got lots of spare links now
- Looks like tanktracks rolling down the street, very robust. What I like about my halflinkchain though, it makes no sound at all. Is this chain silent ?

@ Ace.
Yes i had to buy 2 chains also.
One chain has 96 links I needed 130 links on my bike.
So i have a lot of spare links left also.
Yes it's a silent chain,no strange sounds.
