So my homie in bikes just dropped this off yesterday, a very rare example in new zealand, apart from the seat and rear derailleur it looks to be all original even the tyres I would argue are original, the bike looks like it hasn't been thrashed but used more as a fun ride, even the gear and brake inner cables are coloured a pinky purple colour except for front brake cable, ballistic frame, fork and seatpost, LX brakelever/shifters XT hubs, front derailleur, brakes/pads and crank, alivio rear derailleur which I'm guessing not original, club roost/Ibeam stem, club roost bits and bobs, michelin tyres and mavic rims, this will be stripped down cleaned greased and put back together as original as possible, so new chain, an era correct seat and rear XT derailleur and replace any rusty bolts, the qr skewers for wheels and seat post clamp are awesume, the seat post clamp is UNO branded and doesn't seem to match the bike or the qr lever so that could have been replaced too but this will be a way in the future rebuild but nice enough to show you guys and girls, I know club roost is USA but has an English bike shop sticker on it so now in new zealand it's traveled a bit
Enjoy

Wow that's sick, what a machine! I think you are right, that alivio seems out of place with all those exotic parts. I really like the cantilever brakes too, that's a pretty unique set. The wildgrippers are great tires too, that's a very sticky compound, great traction on hard surfaces, but as you can see, not so much longevity.
