This is a mid 60's Spaceliner that I built to auction for a charity. The charity is Aids Project New Haven. They provide services and help for patients with Aids who need it. The auction was at the New Haven Country Club yesterday 10/6/12.The party was an Octoberfest. The beer was awesome!! The food was Fantastic! The people were Great!! we had a very good time. There were many other items to bid on like cruises, and trips, autographed collectables from movie stars and sports stars, gift certificates to fancy restaurants and more!
I had a great time explaining/describing the bike to many people. it was well received and got a lot of attention. The winning bid was $160. Not as much as I hoped it would get but it is better than $150.
When I walked in, this is what I saw:
The bike looked great all lit up.
It drew some admirers
The best photo I took (best is a relative term. these are pretty poor photos, sorry)
Bikes always look so small when I stand near them
