looking at my g-bike from the buildoff last year and thinking about playing with it some, but i need a new bike speedo/computer. i put a nice mag wheel on the front and didn't want to try drilling ino it or gluing to it so i tried to put the sensor on the back wheel. the sensor wire wasn't long enough so i tried splicing in more wire (i read that's possible) and now it doesn't work.

i don't want to spend the cash on something wireless. the cheap walmart one i had before did all i wanted it to so if i can just find something similar with a longer lead it'll work for me. thanks if anyone knows.

also, has anyone seen a computer that has replacement sensor leads? i mean where you can buy the sensor and wire on it own. it might be worth spending a little more if i could use one computer on several bikes.
