Pretty much the same as a Grand National with the exception of the GNX number badge on the dash.

Bigger turbo...better exhaust...16" wheels and a tricked out rear suspension...oh, and the fact that they only made 547 of them.

I'd actually take a new Ford GT before I dropped $100k on a GNX.

Don't tell my old buddies in the Buick club though.

RR, yes, that GNX is nice, but not worth 100k... a bit pricey. The GTs are nice, I'd like to drive one, but probably not own one. I think I've gotten over big expensive cars like them and vipers and even more exotics. For that much money I could have 2-3 REALLY nice cars to cover my ranges of desires (ie, sports sedan, luxury sedan, pickup, hot rod).

The car that I regret getting rid of is my old Galant VR-4. Factory sleeper right there, for a couple of thousand it would've been an easy 11 second car, capable of driving in all types of terrain/weather, etc. Plus, they were ugly, no one knows what they are, and they share a drivetrain with AWD eclipses:

Hey Rat Rod,
You would have loved the Buick vs Ford weekend at the drag strip here in OK recently. More black Buicks (Grand Nats, GNX's, clones and more) than you can almost imagine in one place and they were fast. Not fast enough for the Fords :D but fast.

Here's some pics from a local photographer if you're interested:

Yup.. that's it. It was a pretty good turnout. 100+ races plus extra Ford runs. Ended a little rough with a red Fox Stang doing a hard wall check but such is racing I guess.
