Any So-Cal events late September-early October?

Hi, I will be visiting the USofA (LA/So-Cal specifically) from Australia from September 24th till October 8th, does anyone know of any cool bike events in the area during that time? With the mandatory helmet laws in Australia, 95% of our riding is for sport, never see anyone cruising on custom/muscle/lowrider/cruiser bikes, so I was hoping to catch some of my kind of bike kulture while visiting.

so oct 5th should be one you could check out

we could try to get some local members for a ride after the swapmeet
there is a both a good short or long cruise that might be arranged

Rat Bike Rodeo would be good, but it would take too much of my vacation time just getting there and getting back, but the cyclonecoaster cruise looks awesome, I could hire a cruiser from one of the local bike hire places and join in?

Definitely make this one if at all possible, you'll see lots of great bikes and meet nice folks. I'm sure someone will be able to lend you a bike if you put out the word. I would, but won't be able to make it in Oct.
