I bought a brand new '66 Jade Green 1300 bug while in the Navy and stationed in Oxnard. Drove it back to KS non stop once. Also had a new Beige '70 Fastback. During my mid life crisis I found a clean '65 beetle that I should have hung onto. love seeing the restored and modified bugs at car shows. I'll have look for photos of them.
