I've been wanting a cargo hauler for a while and now I finally have one! Woo Hoo!

I looked into the options available for hauling stuff on a bike, panniers, jumbo size panniers, racks, trailers, the Kona Ute, Surly's Big Dummy and finally settled on this, the Xtracycle Free Radical. For me, it seemed to be the best solution to what I was looking for.

There's nothing even remotely exotic on this bike. It's an early 90's MTB, full chro-moly freebie I built up for use as an urban stealth bike and it worked out much better than I'd hoped. Smooth and comfortable, but battered enough so it won't attract the wrong kind of attention. The Xtracycle Free Radical is the icing on the cake :D

It fits the bike rack at the local grocery store pretty neatly too:

Yep, I'm a happy camper!

(and a TOTAL bike geek, according to some of my friends - I'm OK with that  )

NICE!.......It's definitely gonna attract attention.

Hmmm....I missed this cause I was off skiing just as I am every Sat./Sun.

Looks good. Nice call on the PB fenders. Now you need the Kickback Centerstand.
