I have this old crappy road racer called an Amtrek Cougar and it's made in china by a company called Wong Hau Plastic Works and Trading Company. It's been sat in a cupboard for well over a decade and it was missing parts likes back wheel seat and seat post, Brakes etc etc.

After I had a good look around the ratrodbikes forum I've decided to try my hand at making a chopper using this thing

This is NOT my actual cougar it's just a picture of 1 in better condition than mine

This is my Cougar (sorry about the poor blurry low quality pic) I've turned the bars around, clamped on an old seat and threw on an old MTB back wheel with a single speed freewheel sprocket.

Anyways, Back to it..

You could just pick up a tank of propane or mapp gas and just pull tubes from the lugs and keep it really clean looking and not even have to mess around with welding it.
