Latest bike I picked up yesterday, was a bit mucky when I got it, but it had new tubes when I picked it up apart from the fact it's missing a chain/pedal..

Though after about an hour of cleaning it with some WD40 and sticking on an old light I had laying around I managed to get it in pretty good condition. Good for a £5 bike anyway! 8)

I just can't work out what it is though.. there isn't a badge anywhere on the bike. The only clues I've found is that the little caps for putting oil in the hubs etc has "Abington Works Ltd".
I searched this on Google, and turns out that they were a british firm who primarily made tools, but also started making bicycles during the cycle boom in Victorian times, and a few early motorcycles too..

There's also a number stamped in the frame just below the seat post, but I'm not sure if that was stamped by the Police as an identity thing years later in case it was stolen..
