My wife and I are both Team leaders of a national Veterans org. called Team RWB whose mission is to enrich the lives of Veterans through physical and social activity. Bike riding is one of those activities and my wife asked me to build her a Team RWB bike so when the wife asks I get going. I started out with an 88 dollar Huffy from the W mart which I stripped down to zero. Here in sunny Florida everything rusts so I coated all the metal with truck bed liner spray to seal it before adding color. I chopped the fenders and fabricated a chain guard to fit from an old Schwinn Hollywood plus a few other panels. After actually packing all the bearings and a few after market pieces this is the result. Happy wife happy life.
