48-49 Firestone Pilot

hey guys and gals, just picked this up last night off craigslist. the paint work is not so great, but theres no rust, and most everything seems pretty original minus tires and grips. the fenders are pretty dented up, but ill try my best to straighten them up when i strip it down. for what ive gathered, the 40s firestone were basically monarks? here is the only blurry pic i have of it right now, but ill snap some more and have them up soon.

the firestone 500 ladies bike is a friends that im going to tune and clean up a bit

yeah i dont know if my wife would be willing to give up her schwinn flying star. but i have offered to buy the bike from the guy im fixing it up for. its for his daughter and he doesn't think she'll part with it anytime soon.

ill pull the vin from from the pilot asap so i can do more research, but based on the pics, does any one know what style of kickstand it would have?
