36 Elgin Bluebird

So, this bike was my uncles and I loved it since I was about 5...23 years ago. He passed away 3 years ago and my wife and I inherited the house along with everything in it. This bike was always in the basement but it was altered over the years and was far from original. I had all intentions of fixing it up but I ended up getting laid off and I knew I could get decent money for it, so unfortunately I had to sell it. It ended up going to an Elgin collector in Cleveland Ohio. I got it stripped and primered before I had to let her go.

thats really sad about your uncle , and getting laid off , but at least the bike is going to a good home, these are hard times we live in

that is rough, but im sure you have fond memories of it and im sure that the money it gave you helped you out. id say thats a legacy your uncle would have liked.
