28-hole hub in 36-hole rim??

It may be a massively stupid idea, but i just got a 28-hole Sturmey-archer kickback 3 speed hub, and all my rims are 36-hole, so i need to know, if i strategically position the missing spokes and use the thickest possible spokes could i pull it off?? i could even plug weld the extra spoke holes to make it look clean. Just wondering if i can make it work... :?:

Sure it can work out fine.

A lot of work in my opinion. Find a 28 hole rim or see if some one would sell ya one

Look one line for a new one on line, 20" 24" or 26" rim?

26" rim. And I seem to Only be able to find 20-hole MTB rims
