You just missed the opportunity to buy one from Chain Gang Lowrider. He's out of stock according to the website. I would suggest sending him an e-mail. That's the only time I have ever seen a 26" black bent springer for sale. You know you can have one for three times the price if you have a chrome one blasted and painted!

Haha yes I could, I'm trying to avoid having to take a chrome one apart and paint it.

Depending on what color scheme your doing, you can paint a chrome one with special paint to give it a dark brown/black type smoke effect. It's made to go on chrome. The auto parts stores have it. I believe it's by duplicolor, Metal Cast or something.

Picked up this Roadster at a garage sale. The chrome is pretty rough. I've put it aside until I completely finish my 4 other bike projects. It will be an expensive build.

Can you spray plasi-dip over chrome?

Yes that's my plan. I'm just afraid of the moving parts on it and where/if they rub, then the plasti-dip would probably rub off. I think.

I just picked mine up today from Porked Chopped Custom Cycles in Wichita Ks. He had to order it. Not sure who he went through, I know I couldnt find them online either. Im sure he can ship one to ya, just google the bike shop and give him a call. They dont have an online store.
