The tank plate I cut out of aluminum.

I believe the clamps are copper plumbing straps I got at the hardware store.

You know I'm surprised someone hasn't tried selling these as a kit.

I did the same thing on my Army bike.

nice...i was at home depot looking for something to mount my giant horn and ended up at those clamps....and there was a copper "hanger" that ended up working great to mount the horn....
