Just finished (95%) a "Rustoration" on an early 1920s Excelsior Motobike. The bike is not rideable as shown but I have a set of wheels I can put on it for a ride any time. I did not want to paint it, but the 4 layers of spray and house paint necessitated drastic action. I am soliciting comments on the paint - should I rough it up or leave it as is? Any comments, good, bad or ugly are greatly appreciated!

the grips look small (short), like they are for a child's bike. Are they?
