If mine ever makes it out there, or if you bring it to OBC LV in the spring we can get the two of them together.

OMG, I cannot even imagine how much the shipping cost would be for either of these!!!! :D :D

I know what you are saying. The last full pre-war bike I shipped it was about $120. These being longer and about 30-40 lbs heavier than a normal pre-war bike.

Maybe when I retire in 10 or so years I can make that cross country custom bike tour I've thought about for years.

Holy smokes, kingfish, I don't even know where to start. Holy Fricken WOW!!! This bike is AmazeBalls! The level of craftsmanship, attention to every detail, the sheer amount of labor it must have taken. You must be proud of this build and you deserve to be. I wish I had jumped on the build off earlier this year so I had time to follow all the build threads. I can't wait to sit back with a cool IPA and thoroughly enjoy the build on this one. Way too sick. Congrats, man, this thing Stomps!!! 😎

Thanks a ton man! I have a ton of fun with these build offs and yes, I do take pride in the end result. This one was more free flow than most of my builds, but it all kinda just gelled together towards the end. Glad you joined us this year. After going through some of the build threads, you'll see how each one of us has the potential to end up building a better build TOGETHER than we ever would have as an individual. This build is a prime example of that. There are multiple forks in the road on this build where I was about to zig on my own, but decided to zag instead because of feedback or inspiration I got from other RRBers. I strongly suggest to everyone to take the time to check out the other build threads while the building is going on. Get inspiration from them. Offer incouragement of suggestions to them. Listen to the people that take the time to visit your build thread too. Sometimes they may be way off base from what your vision is, but many times it's just the question or suggestion you needed to hear.

Here are three diiferent versions of my ride video today. This bike is a hit with the tourists!

Looking forward to seeing what's on the grill for next year's build off. For @Jake Sensi and I it will be our 13th one in a row together. Who knows what we'll cook up???

One of the last things I did on my ride last night was stop by my cathedral and give thanks for the blessing of experiencing another fun build off with you all.

And as the sun sets on Build Off 17, thanks to each and every one of y'all that built, commented, dreamed, offered advice, added humor, and provided the comeraderie that these BOs are known for.
Thanks for helping me build a better and cooler bike than I ever would have on my own!!!!
Good luck everyone!!!

Thanks to every one that enjoyed my Uncle Stretch build! I can't tell you how much fun this bike has been. First to discover such a cool piece of early RRB history. Then to do all of the research and digging in the archives. Once it was time to build it, I was so stoked. Thank you all for leading me along the way, because I truly didn't know where this one was gonna go. It just told me what it wanted to be along with your help. Now I've got a killer build that I've been riding like crazy during the voting week. Speaking of voting,,,,,thanks to everyone who honored me by including πŸπŸ—πŸ‘πŸ• π”π§πœπ₯𝐞 π’ππ«πžππœπ‘ 𝐂𝐨π₯𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐗𝐋𝐖𝐁 as one of your choices. I am so proud to have finished in 3rd Place with the strong field of builds that we had this year!!!! I also have to give a big shoutout and congratulations to my Savannah partner in crime @Dr. Tankenstein for earning 5th Place with his killer Lowco Liner build!!!! Can't wait to roll with you again brother!!!! Now everyone take these rolling trophies we've built and RIDE WITH PRIDE!!!!
