    Yes, I'll confess, the 'Thor' bike is one of mine. The frame is a MTB, just one of the '90's cheapo that is easy to find on the hard rubbish. I keep an eye out for these when trawling the streets. They usually have the one piece cranks with a triple sprocket, I chop'em up to get the small front...

    Thanks for all the great replies, the paint is spray can red oxide under coat then a coat of a cheap spray can light gray, scratched knocked and chipped in areas that would naturally receive wear, left out side for a month or so to rust up then rubbed back with some fine steel wool to reveal...

    before shots...... more like build shots really. donor frame lying on the blue print a bit of a nip and a tuck and after a little scraping, filing and sanding bit of brass went into that fillet folded and soldered regards Steve
