    I just put my western flyer in the storage shed for winter I live in Washington State. My fenders seat springs and springer front end all have some pitting . I don't want it to get worse I sprayed some wd 40 on a sock and rubbed everything down I could touch. But is there a more clever better way?

    My chain keeps falling off!

    I have a western flyer and I put redline chain tensioners on it the chain has a little slack but not much. It's not too tight I don't think either. When I peddle hard like up a hill the chain falls off! Any ideas its a single speed bike. --- I am here...

    Thanks guys! The other issue is the crank arm has play in it I can wiggle it back and forth never worked on bikes but I got all the bikes electrics to work that's more my forte. I converted the front to led even though I love the old yellow light this seems more functional. I'm looking into...

    Ive been a lurker forever lots of talented folks here and great bikes. I bought my girlfriend a huffy cranbrook for Christmas and she has been itching to ride it. She didn't want to ride alone so I went and looked for a used bike on CL and I found a Western flyer reproduction in great shape IMHO...
