i guess i would just need the chain ring to be in the middle of the cassette so that way it maintains the best chain line through the gears. Perhaps i will order the crank first then eyeball it from there

Yea I took Cannondales RZ 120 2 to Raccoon Mountain and loved it. If I can find one I can afford i'll grab it but i had to move back to MD and no where to ride.

Sooo the whole tire change didn't go as planned. The whitewalls i have were off of a mountain bike style 26" rim and the wheels that have the 3 spd are 26 x 1 3/8 (590mm) so it will have to be the black skinnies for now. If any one has any cool suggetsions for tires that would work i'm all ears...

I like this idea better because i don't know how easy the spring would be to get off. I'm a little confused though. Wouldn't making the lever shorter increase the amount of force needed to compress the spring. I feel i would have to put the spring arms farther away from the wheel in order to...

Hey does anyone know how to weaken the spring on a set of rat trap forks? Mine are pretty solid and I thought about trying to cut the spring down but didn't know if there was anything easier someone had come up with.
