    USPS are stupid

My experience, simply put.. USPS. PROS: Lower cost, have never lost or damaged a package. CONS: long line, no matter time or day, and not the brightest people, so a little more humdrum "who cares" attitude, and not the easiest to get to (as there are less offices, at least in my area)...

    "ruining" a frame..

Do you feel like if you paint/change/modify a bike you feel a little bad? Maybe I put too much love or something into it.. So I'm looking for a originally painted black, cantlever or unusual 20" frame, hey, we all have a vision of what we wanna build! So like some rust, but original black...

    Huffy banana seat

I wouldn't say a treasure.. but a find..! Just as I found it.. have no idea what I'll do with it, but had to have it, you know.. chain guard says "country sunshine". Ha! Plastic fenders don't rust or dent! Graphics surprisingly good on rear. Rims have only 20 spokes, btw. And 2 "Cub Scout...

    The "Wrap Rod"

Well, it's done as it's going to be for now! I still want to add a few things, too many ideas, never enough time..! But at least it looks good as is and rides great. Definitely a fun build.

    THe "Wrap Rod"

Ok well this is how it stands now. Need a headlight/s, maybe a bit more color on the crank. Still trying to get a good chainguard too! Might wrap the forks.. I like em' all chipped and rough, but might match the rest if something is going on there! At least I need to figure out the crank color...

Here is seat #1 then seat #2. Man, I really like #1, although the consensus seems to favor #2. Man, once on the bike, I really like #1. The straight bottom evens out the curvier frame, along with the straight forks. (Dr. T, I'm not opposed to trading, but I do like it better.)

    THe "Wrap Rod"

Well got er' up on wheels and chained, took it for a little test ride. I realized when I slowed I didn't tighten the handlebars too tight, they rolled foward.. I had to laugh at myself! Anyways that was before I added a fender, for some reason, this fender gave me a rash of trouble, but I got it...

    ELLIS SPEED SHOP SCHWINN

Fun read! Like the plant hook holders for painting! Man the chainring had perfect patina! But I see where you are going, I like it. So many times when I grey prime something, I like the look, the grey brings something, nice job so far!

Well always amazed at all the ideas people come up with! Even if you do something you come up with, it doesn't mean it hasn't already been done before, you just didn't know it was out there. And even so, still cool you thought of it on your own too, and why not share it? Sometimes inspiration is...

    THe "Wrap Rod"

Oh man Kingfish, "Wrapper's Delight"!!! I am seriously thinking about the name change! I thought I was clever with the wrap/rat, but yours is even..clever-er..! And Dr. T, some said either the triple tree or the springer would be fine, but leave it to you to combine them! Thats thinking outside...

    THe "Wrap Rod"

Didn't really want to repaint it, after taking the stickers off, the metal flake greeen didn't look too bad. but didn't really go with the forks as well as I'd like. And the chrome ape's looked low-rider-ish with the metal flake paint, and didn't look right with the forks either. So I thought of...

Well I've been reading up on many builds, love all the creativity. I didn't think I was going to build another one, but I couldn't help myself! I picked this bike up for cheap, wasn't sure what I was going to use it for. Sterted to chopper-fy it, and after all the work to convert the steer tube...

    Fairly odd Lady

For sure! Man, if the front wheel comes up a bit, there is no delay, it goes back quick! But a slight foward lean, and it's good. Didn't want a wheelie bar for the look, but man, might be a real good idea!

    Fairly odd Lady

I'm saying I'm done with this! Had some other ideas but didn't seem to fit with the design, maybe next year! Still, a great site, a fun build, love seeing all the creativity. She's not easy to ride, and got some strange looks, but fun times.
