well i sandblasted the frame(don't worry, it was painted about 3 times) and i noticed the original paint was red and the front third of the bike was either cream or a light yellow. don't know if that helps id the bike and parts i'm looking for. serial number is 40054 with a side ways 11. can't...

trying to nail down which chain guard i need for my roadmaster. i have seen ones with about 18 round holes and ones with little airfoil shapes. i have the sprocket with the little airfoil shapes instead of the large airfoils. also my forks do not have a bracket for the truss rods at the bottom...

thanks for the info guys. it helps. the letter code is at a slight angle so if its a "L" its crooked.any ideas with the sideways "11"? no morrow hub, it's a new departure model d hub. so it's probably not the original. it was my great grandma's 3rd husband's bike so who knows what he put on it.

looking for id of this frame so i can look for the correct parts to rebuild/restore. i was told it is a colson frame but need more specifics. i figure someone can id it by the crank, fork, or the rear axle mounts. i could not see a number on the bottom but it has been repainted a few times. thanks

hello. am into jap choppers but got the rrb bug from themotorcycleguy. i guess the same kinds of people are susceptible to the same viruses. i have 1985 haro fst to restore(mine when i was a kid) and just traded some honda parts for a colson frame bike.
