I have original S7 wheels, fenders, sprocket and a few other Stingray parts that I'm slowly restoring to go onto this frame.
I was thinking of making a Key Lime Krate 8) ya know, the Krate that never existed.
or maybe a Steamray? (a steampunk Stingray)
thanks for the quick reply.
I see what you mean about the tank area. I'm kinda saddened that I don't have a true Stingray or Krate frame, but, now I won't be hearing the cries of resto nuts when I start cutting the frame.
so, I bought this frame about 3 years ago and have been building it into the pic you see here.
but now the desire to know what I have is crushing me.
the original color was a purple simular to the grape krate. buried under 3 layers of spray bomb paint I found some original paint in the corners...
here's some 20" ones, if you search on this site I'm sure I saw some 26" ones

I have the same trike rear and have been looking for wheels for awhile.

Re: Rat Trap Ray - Updated 2/9
it's nice to see a bike being built that has been a long dream. I too have recently over the past year finally been building a bike that has been planned for about as long, mine started out as a light/horn that I found in my grandfathers basement that was bought...
just looked at some maps and pics, nice, a fall ride would be cool. since it's your neighborhood start a new thread to start organizing a southeast rat ride.
anybody interested?
I'm just trying to see about setting up a central Florida annual ride.
bad time of year for everyone?
location? any other suggestions for locations? I would like to keep it on one of the bike trails.
