Thats a wild cocept.But why not just stick with regular brakes?Well I guess you could run the full painted or anodized hoops and you wont get the brake rub wear on the sides of your rims.but you never know it may or have already caught on.I dont follow this style much.But no brakes is kinda the whole style behind this whole fixed craze.

If you were going down a long descent, it would help save your knees. But then, long downhills are what freewheels are for.

Interesting idea, I like the look of it. I guess that's for fixies who haven't learned to backpedal yet? Weird.

That system would work even better with that weird Schwinn Positron drivetrain where the cascette is fixed, and the bottom bracket freewheels. That way you could keep your feet on the pedals. I guess you would want a lock ring on that rear cog to keep from unthreading from the hub when using the brakes...
