According to the oldroads vintage bicycle site, your ser# comes up as 1952 but also could be in the 1956 or 1957 catagories too because they used B00001-B99999 for each of those years. Hope that gives you an idea.
 
I'd say it's the older date due to the little cross brace between the down tubes on the frame. That brace was eliminated sometime in the 50's. Gary

yeah thats what i got, one was like march of 52 and the other was january of 57.
 
The bike looks like a '52 would be appropriate. The early straight fork darts look the same as a couple I've had.

My wife's is approx 1947 with the serial # C01030. Looks to be the same frame.

Look inside the fork legs for a tiny date stamp, could be something like "01+7" for January 1947. Should be near the open end of the fork.

Other than that there's not a whole lot to work with. Where is the serial number? Bottom bracket would be the earlier location, left rear dropout would be appropriate for a 1957.
