Whats the point? Torrington Spokes

Ive had these since the summer
Any value to them or anything? What were they used for...they are very short.

I believe they are for early tricycle wheels. I think the word "velocipede" on the box was a word for tricycle. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Velocipedes were bikes, trikes and quadrikes - although the name was most commonly used for trikes, this was in the Victorian period.
