Spokes came in. The sizes I needed apparently aren’t a standard size. I found that Porkchop had custom cut stainless spokes for a very reasonable price. They seem to be good quality too. Hopefully I’ll get some wheels built in the next couple of days!

Got the tires mounted and the wheels stuck on for a quick mock-up. I’m really liking the look. Feels like 27.5 is a good size and they fit with plenty of room to spare. Should probably clear on a middleweight frame too. I’m really liking the direction that this one has taken. A little more frame straightening and this one should be ready for paint.

I really like this Kram! The rounded rims contour right into the sidewalls of your tires , gives it a great look.

This build is giving me a vintage Euro dirt track racing vibe. Maybe a traditional color like the one on this car would work? Or a dark gold, titanium / platinum silver?

I really like the profile of these rims. It’s really close to what the old wood rims looked like. Normally that is very close to color I would choose, but this one is going to have a fairly unconventional paint job.
