Not sure if this is where I should post this, or if it's even correct for this site, but it ties in loosely with my intro and this last Labor Day......

Back at the beginning of April, I started my "intro" thread to this site, including talk regarding a stroller I was starting to build for my daughter. Actually, it was this stroller concept that has me in the mess I'm in today. ie bicycle obsession.........Anyway, I've been putting it off for months now (too busy chasing down bikes:), but during the week leading up to Labor Day, I finally crunched it out. We have a "rust" get together here locally called "Greaserama". Mostly motorized vehicles, but the non-motorized is catching on. Check out the links at the end of this post for pics from the show.

Here's the link to my intro complete with a couple early pics (page 2).

Here is the donor jogging stroller. I ended up only using the wheels and rear axle.

Sorry for not taking any pics during the last week of construction. Too pressed to get it done. I'm sure many of you know this feeling :)

These last pics were taken with my wife's camera, and are too big to insert directly. And I'm not bright enough to downsize them.

This first pic has my daughter sitting pilot, and a good friend of mine's daughter sitting co-pilot. The bike in the background is my current favorite rat, a Nonpareil.

Here's a pic of a talented local pinstripper laying some lines on her at the show.

As the emblems suggest, it does have a V8 in it...........

Here are some links to sites with pics of the entire event. If you're into rat cars, then you'll enjoy these. A handful may be considered offensive to some. My apologies if so.

Sweet rat :!:
I have the leftovers from an old tractor that are just like the cowl that you used.
It was from an old lawn tractor that my Dad had in the fifties. I am working on a pedal powered tractor.

Excellent.
The nose on mine is from a tiller from my grandfathers farm. I've been looking for a "home" for it for some time now. The event that I took it to is annual, so next year, I'm thinking of stretching her out, and making a dragster out of it........
