The seller says it's a "20" Firestone Stingray 5 speed (Super GTO)". I've never heard of it. What do you think?

Not at all, those parts add up believe it or not. That picture doesnt do that bike justice, youd actually have to get him to send better pictures.

It's a cool bike in pretty rough condition. Would be awesome restored.

It's a long frame design that Huffy made for many years and were also sold under other brand names. Probably sold as Sears or Free Spirit bikes at some time in the production run as well.

The long Rail type bikes are a collectible model but this one will take a lot of work to get back in great shape.

See some of the collection here for variations and more info:

(Try other pages in his collection as well, there are lots of Huffys scattered throughout.)

$75 is probably the most it's worth in present shape. Good luck with it, it could be turned into something cool. The seller I'm sure just put Stingray into the title to draw viewers in, or to refer to the style of banana-seat 20" bike.

Thanks for the info. I threw an offer at the seller via e-mail. If he bites, then I'll pick it up as a project. If not, then it's not meant to be. The wife will kill me if I bring it home.
