on my cannondale i have clipless pedals. I have a cheap pair of platforms i wanna use until i can get some descent ones. Here's the problem do clipless come off the same way as normal pedals? They have a head i can put a wrench on and they also have an alen head in the spindle of the pedal neither of which i can budge at all. I'm not using an actual pedal wrench but i'm using the same wrench i've taken HUNDREDS of normal pedals off with (including many and many 50+ yr old ones.) below is a pic of the pedals i'm dealing with.

I was taking some platform pedals off a bike to replace a chainring and cranks, one pedal was difficult but I got it off quickly, the other one I had to put the crank in a vise and keep hitting the wrench hard with a mallet and it took half an hour (!) but it eventually came off - and the thread was, perfect not crossed or anything.
So, just keep at it, good luck!
