Just a couple of quick questions.

I want to convert my KK roadster to a 3 speed. Possibly a 24" fat tire.

I've seen many many Stingrays for sale on CL and see that some MAY have 3 speeds. Do they? Can the hub from one be used for my bike? Will it work?

They're so .... cheap, I though that might be the way to go instead of new.

You can lace any hub to any rim, as long as A: they both have the same # of spoke holes, and B: you have the correct length spokes. A Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub is considerably bigger than the average coaster brake, so, you'd need shorter spokes. The easy way to figure this out is to get a spoke chart; they're on ebay occasionally, I have one somewhere, but not sure where. It lists the spoke sizes for front and rear, 20", 24", 26" and also Schwinn S-6 and S-7 rims. ~Adam
