OK, I freely admit that the only thing I know about bikes is how to ride one...........that being said (or typed) I'm planning on putting together my first real custom. I have a pretty cool ride now but it's basically stock except for the bars. Anyway, to the point of this thread..............I found a schweet set of forks on Ebay and I was wondering if any of you have used these before, maybe the guy who makes them is even a member here? In the ad it states " NOW AVAILABLE WITH HEADTUBE LENGTHS 6 5/8 & 7 1/8" I need to know what/where to measure to get the proper size. Here's a pic of the forks and a link to the listing:

Yep....sounds like Dave and Adam have plenty of experience with them.

Glad to hear that they have made improvements per Dave's suggestions.

Seems like a good price too.
 
meassuring is easy measure your frame head tube top to bottom. the longer one is the one you will use. but becareful you also have to account for the headset cups, the crown for the fork, and the top nut so i typicly add about an inch.
