Ambitious needed the slightest tickle in the derailure dept .
I couldn’t select the very lowest gear, I need it on hills due to the large front sproket 44T.
Top gear rolling was fine, strenuous but fine. So I began mucking around with everything grrrrr bad move,
I was lifting the bike and spinning the pedals and tweaking everything …. Clunk, bonk, and the wheel started to spin backwards, uh oh
Yes that is a spoke running through a chain link
I think the chain has come off the highest gear and kinked on the dropout, making it skip, the derailure stretchs and flings back and the chain jumps, it made its way over to the wheel and somehow managed to hit and jam on the link I have replaced, wedging itself in, it then jams and begins to spin backwards and now looks as it its made like this
