Schwinn Heavy-Duty yellow

I've got a #en ...... Schwinn yellow orig.color. How can I tell if its Heavy-Duty frame ? According to the photo guide it shows all where only yellow in '77 but the frame doesn't look any different to me. thanks Tom

I think the Heavy Duti used the same frame as the other cantilevers. The "heavy duty" part was the thick gauge spokes, "heavy duty" hub, etc.

That's right, same frame as the other cantilevers. It says reinforced, but I've compared them and not seen any extra work on the frame. I think they were all reinforced frames. From the 77 catalog:

Thats what I thought I compared it with my other Schwinn m/w and it all looks the same. But does the factory yellow paint make it a Heavy-Duty ? According to the charts thats the only color listed and not on other m/w canti's ? thanks Tom
