I started getting extremely loud squeeking noises but the bike rode smoothly so I guessed it was to do with the coaster brake and not the actual gears. I took the hub apart and the bearing at the coaster side was no good, I took that out and also two coaster parts that were inside the hub. (The bike has regular brakes so I don't need a coaster) Then I re-assembled the hub and got the wheel into the frame and put the clickbox on. The trouble is with gear selection, 3-5 seem to be ok but where 1 and 2 should be there is nothing - the pedals just turn freely. Is it to do with the inner and outer rods that the clickbox goes over? Is there a method of setting up the gear selection? Thanks.
