ok so if this was your headlight how would you paint it

ok so here is my new fender head-light,,im going to repaint it the put it on my bike,,,So I was going to paint it the same as the tank on my bike..but then got to thinking about all white.the tank on the bike is white on top and black on the lower..what do you think?

With the rust and paint I would try using a brass brush attached to a grinder or drill. Steel wool for the top chrome part.

media blast,dont touch with bare hands and then epoxy primer(or etching primer) then paint

ok but what it i want a ruff finish..

then just scuff it with a red scotchbrite pad and shoot over everything...........itll be rough
