Hello everyone.
I am a new member from the Philly area.
I have been a fan of Rat Rod cars(hotrodsurf.com is a great site) for a long time and thought "hey, wouldn't it be neat to build a bicycle in that style?".
Then I got on the "online" and found out it was already a frickin' MOVEMENT!
Anyway, old bikes are getting harder to find - but I was determined to NOT buy a new bike.
After a couple months of searching I got the basis for my first project - a 1960s Huffy with a tank light.
I've seen some negative talk here about Huffy, so I hope I'll still be welcome here.

You won't get much push back on brands in this forum...as long as it looks cool, we're good.

Welcome! Nothing wrong with a Huffy.. it's got pedals right? A bike is a bike.. it's what you do to make it your own that counts. Won't find much bike snobery here.

Welcome! Like the others had said....there is nothing wrong with a Huffy! They have nice lines ...love to see some pics.
