need some ideas on old school build

hey i got this wal mart Huffy 26'' mens beach cruiser that i am currnetly working on.
but after reconsidering, i came to the conclusion that i want it to look rat rod.
the current paint job is Champagne.

i need some ideas on what color i should spray.

i wuss thinking army green on the frame and gloss black on the rims.

feel free to comment and give any rat rod idea

Is that your bike? I think it looks great as-is. Maybe do a nice lether seat and matching grips, or *maybe* paint the rims? If I owned it I would do the seat/grip thing and then look for a really crappy bike to do up as a ratrodbike.

i like the way the bike looks. i'm kinda doing the same thing. only i'm gonna use a bent springer and remove the spring.
