I buildt the wheels, powdercoated s2 rims 26" ft, 24" rear
The rear is a nos red band Two speed Bendix

He has a honey colored Brooks B66 seat on the way for it but until it comes in i'm loaning him a schwinn seat.

I would possibly be interested in a set of those grips too.

Question on the bike:
What did you/he do to get the fat tire in the frame A:) without contact to the chain, and B:) without hitting the stays?

I had a reall problem with that on the "X" Project, and finaly got it down to a point of non-contact, but am curious if there is an easier way.
Educate me!

Very cool collection of parts for the wheels. The flip crown is cool. My wife's 1950 Hollywood came like that. Gives a nice subtle look.
 
Very nice.

I saw a pair of grips like those at Walmart for 12 bucks, they weren't leather of course. The B66 is perfect for that bike. I flipped the fork crown on mine too, it's the only way to go.

Did your new red band need any lube?
