Welcome to the forum! I thing the 53 on the tag indicates 1953. Shelby bikes are tough to ID, as they didn't change frame styles as much as other companies over the years. You can likely find more info at the Classic & Antique Bicycle Exchange, aka the CABE. It's more geared towards stock bikes, though many of us RRB'ers, including myself, are also members there. -Adam
