Hiawatha serial help

New to forum and vintage bikes. Have what I believe is a Hiawatha according to chain guard. Any assistance with year/model would be appreciated.

Serial # underneath bottom bracket is: C95190

with a DGH stamped twice.

Welcome aboard!

That is a Cleveland Welding Co made bike. They also made bikes as Roadmasters and for dept stores. The serial number shows 1947 as the date it was made, between Sep and Dec. The D G H might be a personal number someone stamped on there.

No magic, just several years of collecting data. This is the chart I found to use for CWC bikes, it took a lot of effort on someone's part (Marshal) to put it together.

Your bike is a series 3 with the Cw.

Looks like it has a Bendix 2 speed, maybe a kickback hub.
