ahh, people who name their bicycles... how could i resist joining the fun?

below you'll hopefully see the Molotov, which i'm planning on putting a scooter engine on. the Molotov is an old Murray girl's bike to which someone lacking welding finesse attached a top tube.

i've lurked a bit here and am a little intimidated by the artistry and know-how, but i hope no one will mind if i hang around and try to tap into the vibe and maybe ask a few questions and share some photos.

yeah, i just can't get over the art and ingenuity on display here. i recently started acquiring parts bikes for my motorized bike project, but it quickly went beyond that, first with the Molotov and now my latest acqusition, the Prom Queen, a JC Higgins ancient. i have ideas for my growing collection and looking forward to hanging out with like-minded folks who suffer from this peculiar affliction :wink:
