Got bored yesterday evening.

So after I got home from work. I was a bit bored and not sleepy at all so I went out to the parts shed and put this together from the pile. 1964 Schwinn Tiger frame and miscellaneous parts from the pile. Still have to decide what type of shifters to put on it and install the front derailleur. But pleased with it so far.

I love the idea of having a parts shed where I could just whip up a build. I use to find bikes all the time in my mid teens, often discarded on the curb. Then I would rebuild them and sell them at the end of my driveway.
These days it seems harder to find bikes discarded in the trash, so I'm resorting to Facebook marketplace and local Craigslist postings.
I definitely need to work on my parts inventory!

I started working on this old Hiawatha. But I don't have the correct head set. It's cobbled together for the picture, but binds up pretty badly. I'll get back to it another evening.
