Found for $20

It has two layers of paint over the original but i scraped some off the chain guard and it says speedster. i just dont know what year or make. help?

Looks like you've landed yourself a Schwinn Speedster (assuming of course, the Chainguard is original to the bike). Not bad for $20! Lot's of hot rod bike potential there.

There should be a serial number on the left rear dropout. You may have to peel back a few layers of paint to see it though. Once you have the number, check out Bunch O' Bikes to see when your bike was made.

Thats the one thing that really caught my eye. this bike has been sitting in front of a cosign shop for as long as i can remember. the shop is being tore down because of widening the road for a new lowes, i asked her how much and she said $20 i cant belive no one else checked it out.
