Wow, those are SO nice. I remember that Blue Fenderless from the Memory Lane Swap, that was a nice acquisition.

This has been answered before, but what identifies the frame as a "Fenderless"? Or could someone just prefer a fenderless look and take the fenders off to call the bike a "rare Fenderless"?

Stunning bikes, they have such a cool look that I can't resist for much longer. I don't have any fender-less as of yet but hopefully I'll be able to post one sometime soon. I'm hard at work looking for the right one.

Nothing IDs the frames as fenderless or fendered frames. The frames can be made into anything really, Schwinn serial numbers aren't like the Murray serial numbers, where they tell you the model.

For Schwinn, Deluxe bikes had fenders and whitewalls. Take the fenders and whitewalls off and you have a fenderless ha!

It was common back then for kids to pull the fenders off their bikes. the dealers saw this trend and started offering them that way. I remember pulling a few fenders off my bikes ..lol

Man those are sweet! My '64 is fenderless but it still has the screw in the bottom of the fork crown for a fender.
